Clean hand - audits and training courses

In its proposal oriented towards institutions ‘Poland without Corruption’ will suggest so called risk audits that allow to identify activity spheres in which corruption risk is the biggest. In the audit programme, particular pressure will be put on detecting positions in organization hierarchy which are in the centre of a string of corruption, thus, people who not only give bribes, but also receive benefits.
A lack of ethics among clerks is considered to be one of the social causes of corruption therefore there will be prepared a series of training courses aiming at management staff and organizations which focus on deepening the knowledge about the phenomenon of corruption as well as promoting ethical rules.
Among proposals of training courses there will be, inter alia, issues connected with: motivating employees to ethical behaviour, identifying spheres exposed to corruption and preserving them (control) and the key importance of the ethics of action in the context of social responsibility of business.
The subject matter of training courses will be oriented towards external relations that is functioning of an organization in a public sphere and contacts between its employees and customers or petitioners. Apart from the part which will be oriented towards institutions, the Kosciuszko Institute will also have in its proposal training courses conducted in the previous edition of the programme – they will be proposed to employees working at the interface between an organization and its surrounding, thus, individuals who might be exposed to corruption or fostering corruption situations. These training courses will include answers to the question ‘how to behave’ in corruption situation.
