Paweł Szulewski

Paweł Szulewski is a lawyer and a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, University of Wrocław. Having graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University, he completed EULISP European Legal Informatics Study Programme (LL.M.) at Leibniz University of Hanover and the University of Vienna. He graduated from the School of Austrian Law at the Jagiellonian University and the European Academy of Law and ICT.

He gained professional experience by working for prestigious law firms in Krakow and Vienna as well as leading IT companies as an in-house lawyer. His area of expertise encompasses privacy and personal data protection, law of new technologies, electronic media law, cyberlaw, and copyright. He is an author of research papers and a speaker at numerous international and national conferences. He was awarded LexisNexis Paper Award 2015 during the International Legal Informatics Symposium in Salzburg. He is an author of the first research papers on the legal aspects of digital inheritance. Privately, a technology innovation enthusiast, he is an avid participant in the digital revolution and a vigilant observer of virtual reality.
