For students

Throughout the year, the Kosciuszko Institute Association enrols students willing to gain experience in NGO work. Internships in the Kosciuszko Institute are open to students of any age and in any year of study. Interest in political science, security, foreign policy, new technologies, economic development, innovations, startup ecosystem, etc., is a plus Very often people who demonstrate creativity, commitment and professionalism while sharing our mission and ideals become members of our team and start their first work at the Institute.

When do we recruit?

Non-stop. At any time, at least two interns work in the Institute and a few months before the flagship event organised by the Institute, that is European Cybersecurity Forum – CYBERSEC (June–October) we take on more students.

How long does the internship last?

Usually, the Kosciuszko Institute internship takes three months, during which the intern is obliged to work 20 hours a week.

Intern’s duties

The duties differ depending on the team that the internship will involve.

The student joins and takes part in the activities of one of our four teams:

  • programme – handles the Institute’s core activities
  • fundraising – handles partnerships and relations with outside organisations
  • PR & Communication – takes care of the media image the Association and the events we organise have
  • organisation – handles organisation and logistics for the Kosciuszko Institute’s events
